Computer and Electronic Waste Recycling
When computers, laptops and other electrical equipment that are obsolete or no longer required, electronic equipment recycling is often the only choice left available.
Electronics deemed outworn, and dated that are no longer being used continue to source toxins and carcinogens. Due to the continual and rapid need for new technology and the low initial cost, this has resulted in a large surplus of computers and other electrical equipment in the UK. This is why electronic equipment recycling needs to be taken seriously as a step to combating e-waste when reusing isn’t an option.
We offer a free IT recycling collection service within Kent and East Sussex (other counties may incur a small charge) that covers a broad range of electronics that are labelled unwanted. All data on storage devices are securely wiped. A data destruction certificate will also be supplied.
Why Choose LoopCR
From the moment we receive your old IT equipment, we will complete a thorough assessment to determine if it can be reused. In some cases we are unable to reuse unwanted IT equipment, this could be because the system becomes unusable or it is in an unserviceable condition. In such cases, LoopCR will undertake some very ethical procedures on how they should be disposed of. We implement a very green procedure when we recycle computer equipment.
We promise and guarantee complete and utter data security and destructions of your old data storage devices. We also provide a data destruction certificate to prove to you that your old assets have been completely expunged.
LoopCR’s Methodology is that;
- We believe in reducing the amount of IT equipment being disposed of at UK landfill sites.
- We only recycle parts and equipment that cannot possibly be re-used.
- We ensure that all our recycling is carried out in an environmentally friendly manner.
