The Great IT Clear-out
We believe in what we do at LoopCR, our goal from the beginning was to enhance the shelf life of redundant IT equipment and prevent a surge of toxic materials entering landfills at an accelerated speed. The Great IT Clear-out is here to spread the message that everyone can be greener in their approach to IT equipment.
We have a very close relationship with the KM Charity Team, over the past 3 years, we have contributed to events that showcase the fantastic work achieved by schools, universities, colleges and all the people within the education system.
In partnership with the KM Charity Team, LoopCR will be donating 50p to Buster’s Book Club for every collection of IT Equipment we receive until May 2018.
Buster’s Book Club is a campaign to make reading ‘fun’ again for children. Their approach to literacy has seen some incredibly rewarding benefits, schools across the country are participating with the extra home sessions Buster’s Book Club provides.
The National Literacy Trust had the following to say about literacy amongst children:
“Overall, nearly 4 in 10 (37.5%) of those who never read outside class read below the level expected for their age.”
With prizes on offer for inter-school challenges, there is a winning combination of higher education with a key emphasis on enjoyment and participation.
Businesses small and large, governing bodies, and everyday households can all contribute to the success of going green. LoopCR is here to collect all of your unwanted IT equipment FREE of charge – that’s how much we care.
